Free sewing pattern for a toiletry pouch – a small, soft pouch for everything that has to travel to the bathroom or into a weekend bag.

A toiletry pouch that actually works

It is meant for small things – in the bathroom, on the road, or in a handbag. It fits:

• a toothbrush and a small tube of toothpaste;
• travel-size toiletries;
• small care accessories;
• a sports, swim or weekend bag.

What you need

• 1 piece of cotton, 25 × 30 cm (about 10 × 12 in), for the outside;
• 1 piece of terry cloth, 25 × 30 cm, for the lining;
• 60 cm (24 in) of cord or ribbon;
• your usual sewing kit.

• the A4 sheet with French labels, for anyone printing on A4 – the pieces are identical;
• seam allowances of 1 cm (3/8 in) included – add nothing;

Print at 100% ("Actual size", no scaling) and check the test square – it measures 5 cm and 1 inch – before cutting.

About the language

The pattern sheet is in English. This PDF contains no written instructions – the order of the steps is shown in the video. If you print on A4, the sheet you get uses French labels, but the pieces are exactly the same: same shapes, same dimensions.
